Last week my cell phone rang and much to my surprise it was the sweet husband of an old high school friend. He was calling to schedule a surprise shoot because they were coming to Charleston this week. Monica and I were cheerleaders together in high school and have not seen each other but twice in 20 years. Each time was at our reunion so I was excited to get some one-on-one with her family.
That phone call is all it took for me to dig out my fine, 100% acrylic High School Cheerleading letter sweater and greet Miss Monica and her family. I had a great time with them yesterday.....and boy did I see so much of my old friend in her sweet little girl.
