I got this email back in the fall about shooting a family vacation just after Christmas.  We didn't correspond much until recently....but most of those were about the weather (no, really....)

I guess I didn't remember the details of our initial contact....because when I walked through the door - it was like I had entered the waiting room of an airport terminal.  Whooh - I couldn't believe this many people were under one roof, all ready for me, and ALL in a good mood.  No kidding.  They couldn't have been more happy to be with one another.  Thanks for including me in such fun - I felt like I had known you guys forever by the time I left.  "J"....You're quite the character....and thanks for making life fun.....

Happy Birthday "C"

I love nothing more than to capture the first, sweet moments of life.  Another thing I love to capture?....Daddy being so sweet to Mama.

Poor Ashley worked hard....all...night...long.  I received the "we're headed to the hospital" text yesterday mid-day....I was anxiously checking my phone regularly for the "8cm text"....which I never received.

So....this morning I was lucky enough to be a part of a great experience in "blue".  Blue drapes....sterile drapes, that is.  Baby "C" came into this world by C-Section and he came out a hootin' and a hollerin'...

Everyone is doing great and things couldn't have gone smoother.  I hope sweet Ashley has gotten in a nap or two....and I wonder if Shaun has wiped the grin off his face.  Congratulations, you two.  Can't wait for the little guy to knock on our door to play.

Love me some Christmas Time spirit....

So.....the kids are out of school.....the Christmas music is 24/7......the pajama lounging has begun....Snickerdoodles are full on.....Paperwhites have bloomed.....love it.  The children are beside themselves and it's magical.

Merry Merry everyone.  Headed to shoot a party and then......on to the hospital because remember Shaun and Ashley....the Preggars post a few weeks back?  Shaun called headed to the hospital.  Wahoooo - I love me a delivery.

A little break in the chilly weather....and we got a breezy afternoon of FUN!

So.....this playdate was scheduled and then rescheduled due to rain this past weekend.  When Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's weather chilled me to the bone....I was a little worried about today.  But it all worked out and the weather warmed up a little and we had a festive breeze going.....A fun afternoon with cousins....I enjoyed it!
